What is it?

Our program is a comprehensive weight loss journey safely tailored to meet your unique needs. We don’t want you to be on medications the rest of your life, but sometimes it can help get things jumpstarted. Medications may include semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic® and Wegovy®)or tirzepatide (the active ingredient in Mounjaro®). We will teach you how to use these medications safely and incorporate them into healthy lifestyle changes. Both semaglutide and tirzepatide mimic naturally occurring peptides in our bodies which produce weight loss through decreased food cravings, increased satiety after eating and increased insulin levels in the body. These medications have been used safely for many years, but only recently became available through the generic form.

What can I expect?

At Gilded Palm we’re not just going to throw medications at you and wish you good luck. You will get a full intake discussion and evaluation with Nurse Cris who will tailor a plan to meet your specific needs. Cris has had her own successful weight loss journey, so she gets it! You will have full-time access to Gilded Palm staff with any questions, issues or concerns you may have along the way.

When will I see results?

Many clients will begin to see weight-loss within the first one to two weeks, but as with all weight loss programs, results vary based upon diet, lifestyle and the individual. Most likely, we will gradually increase your medication dose until your weight-loss goals are achieved.

How long do the results last?

Our hope is forever! Because we provide a comprehensive approach to weight loss our usual strategy is to kickstart your journey medically and then provide you with the tools to maintain a healthy lifestyle without the need for medication.
